The waitlist
If you join a waitlist, I store your email address, the tool you signed up for, the link you came through (for example a carousel), whose invite brought you, the exact consent sentence you agreed to and when, and when you confirmed. I use this to send you the confirmation link, build updates about that tool and the first offer when it opens. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Nothing is sent to you beyond the confirmation link until you click it. Every email has a link that removes your address; removing deletes the entry, it does not just mute it. You can also withdraw your consent at any time by writing to the address above.
Sending email
Emails go out through a mail server that the controller runs himself. No newsletter service or other provider receives your address.
Server and logs
When you open this site, the web server processes technical data such as your IP address, the time of the request, the page you asked for, and your browser and operating system. This is needed to run the site securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and is not combined with other data.
Cloudflare
Requests reach the server through Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA), which protects the site and delivers it faster. Cloudflare processes your IP address and the request for this. Data may be transferred to the USA; Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Cookies and storage
Visitors get no cookies. The admin area sets a cookie that keeps the admin signed in; it is technically necessary (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG) and only set for that sign-in.
No external content, no tracking
Fonts are served from this server; there is no connection to Google Fonts. The site uses no analytics, tracking or advertising services.
Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object (Art. 21). You can also complain to a data protection authority; responsible here is the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen.
